Remote Electronic Notarization
Although the Remote Electronic Notarization Act (RENA) was passed in 2022, notaries are not yet allowed to perform notarizations utilizing RENA until the Secretary of State has approved platform provider(s). Once approval has been granted, you will be able to experience the convenience of remote notarization services, allowing you to get your documents notarized online from the comfort of your home or office.
Mobile Notary
Our mobile notary services focus on providing notarization at your preferred location, ensuring convenience and flexibility for your busy schedule.
Fees
Fees for notarial acts pursuant to N.C.G.S. §10B-31:
(1) For acknowledgments, jurats, verifications or proofs $10.00 per notarized principal signature;
(2) For oaths or affirmations without a signature $10.00 per person, except for an oath or affirmation administered to a credible witness to vouch for the identity of a principal or subscribing witness;
(3) For an electronic acknowledgement or, jurats, fifteen dollars $15.00 per electronically notarized principal signature;
(3a) For an electronic oath or affirmation without a signature $15.00 per person, except for an oath or affirmation administered to a credible witness to vouch for the identity of a principal or subscribing witness;
(4) For remote notarization under Part 4A of Article 2 of this Chapter, $25.00 per notarized principal signature;
(5) For any notarial act under this Chapter, actual mileage at the federal business mileage rate (72.5 cents per mile for 2026) if the travel reimbursement is agreed to by the principal in writing prior to the travel.

Meet The Contemporary Notary
Candace Russell, Notary Public
Candace is a seasoned notary public and former senior paralegal with over 20 years of experience in the legal industry. For approximately 10 years, she managed high volume mortgage litigation for lenders and loan servicers. Candace provides mobile notary services, legal document notarization, and will be able to provide remote electronic notarizations (RENA) once approval for platform providers are granted by the Secretary of State.
Candace brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and dedication to every document notarized, ensuring accuracy and reliability. She is committed to upholding the integrity of notarial acts.
